Fostering Future Behavioral Therapists – Annual Award of $1000
The Sacramento ABA Therapy Center is glad to announce our annual scholarship program, which promotes and fosters the learning of upcoming Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). We have strong faith in the life-changing impact of education and recognize the immense potential of individuals who dedicate their professional paths to aiding those with autism.
In our pursuit of excellence and support for behavioral therapy, our team eagerly anticipates reading essays from enthusiastic students.
The contest
This opportunity is available to students currently enrolled or have been accepted into an accredited college or university for the upcoming semester. To take part, applicants are encouraged to submit a 1000-word essay on “My Sources of Inspiration for Pursuing a Career as an RBT or BCBA” before the deadline of 8/15/2025.

The Topic

The rules for the scholarship require that:

- Full name, address, date of birth, and contact number
- If you are under 18 years old, provide the email address of a parent or guardian
- Name and address of the college or university you plan on attending
- The specific course of study or program you intend to enroll in.
- Submissions will be assessed by the Sacramento ABA Clinical Team based on:
- The originality and insightfulness demonstrated in your essay
- Your evident enthusiasm for and dedication to the field of behavioral therapy
- The quality of writing and presentation in your submission.
