When your family receives an autism diagnosis, it can be overwhelming, and navigating insurance can add another layer of complexity. At Sacramento ABA Therapy, we’re here to make this process as smooth as possible for you. Most insurance companies will cover ABA therapy for autism after authorizing an evaluation and service plan.
Rest assured, our knowledgeable clinic administrators will handle the phone calls to your insurance company to confirm your eligibility for ABA services.
Once authorization is obtained, our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) will assess your child’s unique needs and recommend a tailored treatment plan. This includes the number of weekly sessions, estimated hours, and referrals to any other specialists that may benefit your child.
Your child’s individualized goals are then captured in a specialized protocol journal that our therapists use to track daily progress.
Our team of caring professionals in Sacramento will support you, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs or equivalent qualified staff) and a BCBA. While the RBTs will be your child’s primary therapists during the sessions, the BCBA orchestrates the overall treatment plan, provides ongoing training for the therapy team, and continually adjusts the program based on data-driven insights. They also coordinate your child’s multiple therapies, including crucial parent education and training.
Warm regards, The Team at Sacramento ABA Therapy
